A LITTLE LOOK AT WHAT’S POSSIBLE
Sample Math Worksheets
6 real worksheets, one for each grade from kindergarten to grade 5. These are examples; your student’s daily practice adapts to their progress.
- Kindergarten: Count a ten and extra ones
The tall stack is a ten. Count the extra ones next to it. Ten and that many ones makes a teen number. Write the number.
- Grade 1: Using Ten-Frames
Start with the counters shown. Draw the extra counters. Write the answer.
- Grade 2: Using Base-Ten Blocks
Each flat is one hundred, each rod is ten, and each cube is one. Count the blocks. Write the number in the box.
- Grade 3: Multiplication facts (tables)
Read each fact as equal groups: the first number is how many groups, and the second is how many in each. If you don't know it yet, skip-count by the second number, once for each group. Write the product.
- Grade 4: Adding Fractions with Like Denominators
Add the numerators. Keep the denominator the same. Write the answer in lowest terms: divide the top and the bottom by any number that goes into both.
- Grade 5: Addition
Line up the decimal points, one number above the other. Add zeros so both numbers have the same number of digits after the point. Add as with whole numbers, starting at the right and carrying when a column makes ten or more. Put the decimal point in the answer straight below the others.
