Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Avenue Six LLC, which operates BrightPage. By creating an account or using BrightPage, you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Who can use BrightPage
BrightPage is for adults: parents, guardians and tutors. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Children do not create accounts and do not use the website; they work on paper.
When you add a child, you confirm that you are that child’s parent or legal guardian, or that you have the parent’s or guardian’s permission to enter the child’s information and to work with them. When you share a child with another person, you are responsible for choosing people who may see that child’s work.
2. Your account
Keep your password private and your email address and mobile number current; we use them to verify your account and to reach you. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@brightpage.me if you believe someone else has used it.
One account owns each child. Owners can invite guardians and tutors with narrower permissions, change or remove their access, and delete the child. Guardians and tutors can leave a child at any time.
3. What the service does
BrightPage creates printable math and English practice, reads photos of completed work with the help of artificial intelligence, and uses the results to choose what comes next. It is supplementary practice. It is not a school, a curriculum authority, a tutor, or a substitute for a teacher, and it makes no promise about grades, test scores or learning outcomes.
Automatic reading of handwriting can be wrong. Uncertain readings are shown to you for review before they count, and you can correct any result. Worksheet content is generated and reviewed by software; if something looks wrong, tell us and do not use it.
Your first 30 days are free, and we do not ask for a card to start. After that, generating new worksheets needs a paid subscription: $19.99 a month for one student and $14.99 a month for each additional student. We will show you the price before you are asked to pay, you can cancel at any time, and nothing you have already printed will be taken away.
4. Your content
You own what you upload: photos and PDFs of completed worksheets, school materials, feedback and attachments. You give Avenue Six LLC a limited license to store, copy, process and display that content only as needed to run the service for you and the people you share a child with, and to improve the service in the ways the Privacy Policy describes. You can delete a child, which removes that child’s data, or ask us to delete your account.
Upload only material you have the right to use. School handouts and homework are used solely to shape practice for your child; we do not republish them. Do not upload content that is unlawful, that belongs to someone else without permission, or that includes other people’s private information.
5. Acceptable use
Use BrightPage for personal, household or tutoring practice. Do not resell it, scrape it, probe its security, interfere with other accounts, or use automated tools against the service without our written permission. We may suspend accounts that break these rules or put other users at risk.
6. Text messages
BrightPage daily practice texts. If you give us a mobile number and check the consent box,BrightPage sends you recurring automated text messages for each child you asked to receive texts for: when a set of worksheets is ready to print, with a link to it, and when pages are still to upload, plus replies when you text STOP, START or HELP. Message frequency varies: a tutor or a family with several children gets texts about each of them, and a child whose work comes back quickly can have more than one set ready in a day.
Texts are part of the service: a mobile number and consent to texts are needed to set up an account. You can stop them at any time without closing your account, and each set can still reach you by email. Texts carry only practice notices — that a set is ready, that pages are still to upload, and replies to STOP, START or HELP — and never marketing or promotions. They are sent between 8am and 8pm in your time zone; a set ready later in the evening is texted the next morning.
Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to cancel; you will receive one confirmation and no further texts unless you reply START. Reply HELP for help, or contact support@brightpage.me. You can also turn texts off per child in the app.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Mobile numbers and consent records are used only to send these messages and are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing; see the Privacy Policy.
7. Email
We send email to verify your address, to deliver invitations when someone shares a child with you, and to respond to your messages. These are service emails, not marketing; you cannot opt out of them while you have an account, because we need a verified address to protect it. Our newsletter is separate and optional: we send it only if you choose it, and you can stop it at any time, as the Privacy Policy describes.
8. Worksheets and intellectual property
BrightPage, its software, designs and generated worksheets belong to Avenue Six LLC or its licensors. You may print and copy worksheets for the children in your household or the students you tutor. You may not sell them, publish them, or present them as your own product.
9. Ending the service
You can stop using BrightPage at any time, delete children from settings, and ask us at support@brightpage.me to delete your account. We may suspend or end accounts that violate these terms, and we may change or discontinue the service; where practical we will give notice so you can save what you need.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
BrightPage is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows,Avenue Six LLC disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of worksheet content, and accuracy of automated grading. The service can be unavailable, and printed material can contain errors.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Avenue Six LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of BrightPage. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (which may be nothing) and fifty US dollars. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When the change matters, we will show the new version in the app and ask you to accept it before you continue. The effective date and version at the top of this page tell you which version you are reading.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute cannot be resolved by talking to us first, it will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
